Melissa Willey called the meeting to order at 6:03 pm.

The secretary’s report was previously submitted via email to Beth Chase. Terri Werwinski motioned to accept it, and Lisa Swaciak seconded. The motion was carried.

The Treasurer’s report: A report was not ready, but Pam Smith did have a proposed budget for 2025. Linda Tanner motioned to accept the budget, and all approved. To note: We received the $90,000 in tax money from the school taxes. There are several things to consider for 2025: 1) Rolling interest from COD back into the COD rather than checking. 2) Putting some excess in the checking account into CODs with staggered terms.

Kirstin Brown motioned to accept the minutes as such, and Linda Tanner seconded. All approved.

The Director’s report: Jessie Frank had the following to report:

  • Tutoring- continuing twice daily through the end of the school year- should anything arise that we would need to close unexpectedly, Peter Spear understands and will make other arrangements
  • Barn Painting with Aimee Stanbro – 8 in attendance; 3 unable to attend but did get the project to do at home
  • Friends of Libary – closed their account and $4735.62 was deposited to the checking account. Jessie will purchase some children’s books with recognition of the Friends
  • Friends of Cash Park – met 11/19/24 at 6pm – next meeting 1/9/25 at 6 pm
  • Roll over CRCF interest back into that account – app $900
  • Tree Lighting- Dec 7th 5:30-7:30 – some crafts and Martha Thorne to face paint – Melissa Willey and Beth Chase volunteered. Lisa Swaciak volunteered cookies.
  • December 14th at 11 am Santa will visit. Books will be the giveaway. Terri Werwinski volunteered cookies.
  • Tuesday, December 2nd at Events by Jess – Green Thumb Gardening centerpieces
  • Craig Malinoski will set up a timer for the foyer and outside back lights. The outside front light is working out well on its timer
  • CBNA approached Jessie about QR codes for library donations/fees. Pending some questions (monthly fee? Per transaction fee? Separate account?) we will revisit this
